BoDillaz, an American grill with a fresh unique style, wanted to promote it's new late hours. I chose to illustrate night owls visiting the quesadilla hangout. The illustration was a break away from their urban-like brand.

Tacklebox Jewelry
Tacklebox Jewelry, a new unique jewelry line, finds found objects and ornaments to create beautiful pieces of jewelry. Amanda West, the creator of Tacklebox Jewelry, uses Etsy.com to sell and promote her line of jewelry. Presenting an organic feel to her brand of jewelry, I created a banner, two bookmark advertisements, and a business card.

SPCA Banner Advertisement
The Delaware County SPCA
Problem: Receiving a number of calls about animal cruelty in the area , the SPCA realized there were an increased amount of cases. They wanted to present themselves as a shelter to take care of abused animals
Advertising Solution: Using a simple message, "Help us, help them", the advertisement informs people to click on the banner ad to learn more about animal cruelty.
The banner ad was run on KYW1060.com, Philadelphia's largest news radio website for 1 month.

Comic: "They came for us" / Best of VCU Logo
Here is my final set of pages for the comic I completed. I might try to add some more story to it later.
The Student Media Center at VCU published a Best of VCU edition for the Commonwealth Times newspaper. This is the 2009 logo. Winners of the Best of VCU issue, received the logo file to use in their brochures or other advertisements.

Ive been gone ... of course. but busy.
This is an illustration I did for INK magazine. It is a center-fold VCU board game.
Here is the sketch for an article about apartment ratings for INK magazine. I illustrated a slight contrast in the way of living for those who live in apartments.
Here is the finished and colored.
Here is an illustration for an article on "sexting" : texting 'dirty messages and photos' to other people's cell phones. I know it is so simple, but I am loving the blur paint brush on photoshop. I think it gives a great effects with shading. I wish I could include more textures in the piece.

I'm back. New Year. New President.
Well, I haven't been posting for a while but now I am back. Below are some of the finished final projects. Using words, I demonstrated the concept "watch your tongue".
This is an outdoor advertisement I created to "get out the vote". Because the economy is down I put the words "Economy under construction" at the site of a construction area. It reads: Build the Vote.
Billboard for Coca-cola.

I wanted to design a series of playing cards. I used rock legends as the theme. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jimi Hendrix, and Elvis as the King. Heh heh.
Below is my design for my personal art DVD portfolio. The top right is an idea for a logo. I feel it has a consistent design, but I am not sure if I am completely done with it.
